Sylvie Chalaye<\/strong>, specialistka na africk\u00e9 divadlo a divadlo diaspor, antropolo\u017eka zab\u00fdvaj\u00edc\u00ed se koloni\u00e1ln\u00edmi reprezentacemi a histori\u010dka divadeln\u00edho um\u011bn\u00ed, je profesorkou na Univerzit\u011b Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III), kde vyu\u010duje afro-karibskou dramaturgii a vede Institut divadeln\u00edch studi\u00ed.\u00a0 V\u011bnuje se estetice jazzu a hip hopu. Je autorkou \u0159ady studi\u00ed a knih, nap\u0159\u00edklad Sou\u010dasn\u00e1 africk\u00e1 dramatika<\/em>, \u010cern\u00e1 Afrika a jej\u00ed divadlo v pr\u016fb\u011bhu XX. stolet\u00ed<\/em> nebo Rasa a divadlo<\/em>. Byla jednou z hlavn\u00edch inspir\u00e1torek festivalu Tv\u016fr\u010d\u00ed Afrika a spolu s\u00a0dramatikem Koffi Kwahul\u00e9 se stali tak\u00e9 jeho prvn\u00edmi hosty. O sou\u010dasn\u00fdch africk\u00fdch divadlech a dramaturgi\u00edch p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ela v\u00a0roce 2002 a 2005 v Praze, Hradci Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9, Liberci a Brn\u011b.
